This is a pretty unique ceiling light and visually it does a lot of things right. I was looking for something that could provide both task lighting and ambient light, and this mostly delivers. The fixture itself looks cool and modern. The ambient lighting is the standout feature. The horizontal light projection around the main body washes the walls nicely, and the loop adds a bit more upward ceiling light. It works well as a secondary light source, especially when dimmed. The light is fully dimmable and color adjustable with the included remote. That part works well, and in practice you would almost never want this at full brightness with cool white light. One visual downside is that the LED strips inside the fixture are slightly visible through the diffuser, so instead of perfectly even light you can see brighter spots along the body. It is noticeable but not a big deal. The biggest drawback is how it behaves with a wall switch. When turned off at the switch, it does not remember the last setting and always turns back on at full brightness. That makes the remote always required. It would be much better if it could function sensibly both with and without the remote. The adjustable spotlights are also limited. When the fixture is dimmed, the directional lights are not bright enough to provide meaningful task lighting on their own. As long as we are forced to use the remote it would be much better if there were independent controls for the task spots and the ambient loops. The install is easy, unless your ceiling isn't flat. The fixture mounts to a brace with machine screws through the side. I have popcorn ceilings and it was really hard to get the unit to line up with the screw hole. My arms were so tired after this install. Overall, this is a good looking light that works best as ambient lighting with occasional task use. It looks great in a corner or as a secondary fixture, but the remote dependency and limited spotlight strength keep it from being perfect.

The remote has buttons to turn the spotlights on and off independently but they don’t work properly. Also the color temperature changes every time you turn off the light at the switch. Very annoying
