We live in a 1940s cape and we needed to update the 90s lighting and this was the perfect selection. Installation was a bit tricky in our older construction but with a few modifications, we were able to secure the new light in about an hour. The fixture itself is very durable, the brass construction has heavy weight and the glass bulb affixed very securely! I love the look and it is an instant upgrade!
