Bought open box item that had been used and did some modifications. The 3 sponges that are glued into the 3 bowls had too much epoxy holding them in taking up a 3rd of the opening and leaving very little sponge for water to run through so they would clog easily. Took sponges out. Ground excess epoxy out of bowls with dremel tool. Put pump in small plastic container with lid. Cut hole in lid for pump hose. Cut hole in back for power cord and drilled multiple holes all around to let water in. Surrounded pump in container with course foam from pet store as a filter so pump doesn't clog and now it works great.

The good - Easy to assemble. Beautiful and soothing when running in the daytime and stunning when lit up at night. Visually, it is the perfect centerpiece in my garden. The bad - The foam pieces on the lips of the basins get clogged way too easily and prevent a smooth flow of water no matter how you adjust the pressure or keep the water clean. The ugly - If the body of basins near the spouts get wet, some of the water will stick to the sides while its pouring and slowly empty itself onto the ground. Any wind or rain will do this and I have to refill the fountain almost daily. On a windy day, it's multiple times. I'm disappointed because when it is working it is everything I wanted but the downsides makes it one more garden chore I didn't need.
