This is really pretty and regal looking. I purchase for a client to go with other gold and black fixtures.

I finally put this up. Before buying, consider that the base is bowl shaped and metal. I like the way it looks but I don’t like the way it contains light. The light is cast downward, giving it more of a spotlight effect and making the overall lighting in the room where it is installed less flattering than the old 90s fixture that was there before.If I were to show the house to sell it, I would turn on multiple small lamps plus this light, because this light alone gives a small bedroom a very enclosed look. It’s a beautiful piece, but the gold scratches off to show the black underneath very easily.

Looks great but installation was a pain.

I really wanted to love this light but this is the second one of this same light that I’ve received and unfortunately, the quality is poor. The gold inside is not painted, it is a paper-like lining that arrived cracked, split and peeling away from the sides. I would not recommend this fixture.
