Foyers électriques encastrés

The insert was easy to install and is the closest to the size of the fireplace opening that I could find. I ended up supporting it from the bottom with bricks and filling in my gap with some wood trim painted to match the metal surround. Looks great and is a nice accent to the room!

Works about as well as expected. Gives off decent heat, and the fan is quiet. There's a slight hum (quiet) even with no heat, as the lights use a rotating mirror to get the flickering effect. Only problem we had is that the dimmer feature doesn't work, so the flames are either on or off with no brightness control. I do like the overall look, and appreciate the trim set is big to cover the opening without needing any extra work. (One picture shows the fireplace without trim on - if someone wanted to get creative and make their own, it would be possible.)

For what I paid I was extremely happy with the quality of this product. I had tried a sale item that was bought from a big box store and this was 3 times the product for a lesser price. It was exactly what I was looking for.
