This fountain is exactly what we were looking for. The initial setup was simple, I followed the instructions that were included. The initial amount of water need to fill the fountain before starting it is 16 gallons of water. Couldn’t find this info anywhere. It helps to know how many gallons of distilled water to get.

We like the looks of the fountain very much! Yet, it arrived damaged. I called WAYFAIR who instructed me to call the manufacturer, ALPINE. The damage was minor, and my husband was able to "correct" it. We weren't interested in sending it back and getting another for fear it may also be damaged. It's just frustrating that we spent so much money and had to FIX IT before we could use it! Sad.

Product was as advertised and came early. Problem came when delivered. The box it came in was torn on all sides and packing foam was in shreds! Looks like FedEx practically ruined it as the pump and back door cover was placed on TOP of the box. A few chips in the stones but not bad. Holds water though.
