This planter set has clean, modern lines. They are weighty and feel well made, but are not too heavy. The finish is smooth with very minimal flaws (a couple of tiny bumps in the glaze). For indoor use as described - no drainage hole, perfect for holding a real or artificial potted plant. I brought them outside just for photos. I'm using them with mums by my fireplace to add some cheery fall color. I did cut felt pads to fit underneath so they won't scratch my floors.
