I was very pleased with these bowls when they first arrived. They’re nice and thick with a chunky handle. However, the handles are hollow with two holes in the bottom, and they fill up with water in the dishwasher. I don’t mean a couple of drops, they fill with several OUNCES of water that pours out all over. Then you have to shake and shake the bowls to get the rest of the water out. Who designs something like this Will the remaining water grow mold! Will have to hand wash them from now on, I suppose. It’s also a bit odd that you only get three bowls when a standard place setting is usually for four.

I really like this three-piece ceramic bowl set. It’s going to be really convenient for serving sides and not taking up too much space on the table. It comes in three different sizes within the set. I would definitely recommend this set!

The three soup bowls arrived today in perfect condition. They were packed so well that there was no chance they would break. The bottom of the soup bowl has the same colored rim at bottom as some other bowls I ordered so that was a pleasant surprise. Each has a handle so will be easy to handle if you’re carrying to a table. Very pleased with them.

Love these nice big chunky soup/chili bowls with thick handles, subtly speckled white glaze and terra cotta-colored base. I plan to use for individual chicken pot pies and chunky chili. Four stars because the handle has two little holes underneath for some reason, and the handles retain water when washed and then leak moisture when stored. Don't like that. Nice otherwise.
