DO NOT BUY - DANGEROUS. We purchased this about 9 months ago and followed assembly instructions carefully and it worked well empty. Today my husband was carrying our cat to her annual vet visit and suddenly the plastic broke apart in 3 places where the top component attaches to the base. This happened at the top of stairs and she tumbled all the way down, ran off and now we cant find her. She weighs about 12-13 lbs and its rated for 25lbs max. Cheap plastic, dangerous product.

Cheap plastic material. Haven’t tried it with my cat inside just yet. Hopefully it will hold together. It looks really nice though.
