This pair of nutcrackers is really beautiful and good quality and substantial weight not flimsy at all… I really love them, but I noticed there was only one review when I placed my order and that review said they were beautiful, but arrived broken… One of mine also arrived with a minor breakage… It’s minor enough that I can repair it myself, but I feel that the company needs to package them differently… They are packed in good shipping boxes and Styrofoam forms to keep them from moving, but I think they need an outer layer to prevent breakage… I plan to keep them and they are exactly what I hoped they would be ..if I could change one thing I just wish that they were larger than they are, but they meet the specifications mentioned. I just couldn’t find larger ones to compare to these.

He's beautiful but unfortunately he arrived with a broken foot and his base in several pieces. I'm not happy. Yes I could return it bet that's a pain in the ---. So, somehow we are going to try to repair him. As the top of his staff is bent.. I'm not a happy camper.
