This is a heavy duty ironing board for a small space. You cannot attach this to drywall alone. I had 15 inches of space behind my small laundry room door where I had been placing my portable normal-sized board, but I wanted to free the floor space. And I do not iron large pieces like curtains any longer, so the length is perfect.
