At first I gave these 5 stars. I thought they would last because they seemed very durable. Was I wrong! I was taping something and the tape adhered to the placemat and when I pulled the tape off the design came with it! Now I have a big white patch where the design was. The design is thin as paper! Apparently they are only for looks, not function. The placemats I picked up at Dollar General, when I needed a dozen, lasted longer. Dont buy these unless youre using them as decoration.

I love them. They are perfect for indoor and outdoor dining. The shell patterns look 3 dimensional. My grand children love them too.
