Faux bananier en pot noir avec mousse séchée

Looks gorgeous in our living room!

Well, I have to admit I’m rather unimpressed with this display. I suppose I have to extend the branches out a little bit more but it’s a bit awkward and all of the leaves must face the same direction. Otherwise the color looks off on the opposite side. Maybe this will end up being an outdoor corner display, but it doesn’t cut the mustard for inside my house.

The banana leaf tree came with instructions on how to insert rods and inserting leaves into branches and bending and adjusting for a more natural look. This took a little while trying to make the leaves look real.

I am struggling to keep my real plant (pictured right in large grey pot) in decent shape, so I decided to explore a faux option (pictured left in a small black pot). The product looks very realistic, even when placed right next to the live plant leaves have color and texture variation and can be bent to the desired shape. Stems are sturdy, but flexible. A little plastic smell, which would quickly go away. Additionally, the plant comes in a set of 2 (which I overlooked in the description), which is a great combination of quality and price!

I don't like it. You have to attach the leaves and it isn't plyable.
