Very impressive boxwood topiary. The color is more realistic than some other ones I had. Nice and full, easy to assemble and they truly add a beautiful flair to any planter you choose. They came packaged pretty good but just a little fixing is needed before you place them in your desired location. I would definitely purchase these again! I bought the 15.75 and that is a great size for a 12” planter.

The good news is that these are beautiful when the two halves are put together. The bad news is that you get to do it. The instructions are basic, and don't discuss the pitfalls. Let me help you avoid them. Before putting these together have near some thick or colored easy to see twine, a pair of regular pliers, a pair of needle-nose pliers, and some scissors. Begin by cutting the twine into eight 12-14" strips. Loop them immediately below each of the eight pegs or holes on a 1/2 piece of the shrub. Next, begin by putting the pegs into the holes. Some will go in easily, others not. For the latter, use the regular pliers to close the seal. Be sure not to mash the pegs, keep the pliers near the edge so that the peg and hole are connected. When you move on to the second peg, there's a chance that the first one will come undun. Just persevere. Once all eight pegs are connected, it's time to affix the plastic string ties. Start by bending the end into a large hook. To make it stay in shape you'll need to either use pliers or your teeth. Slip a tie beneath every other one of the pegs. If you're really lucky you'll be able to use your fingers to catch the hook end and pull it back up. If not, this is where the needle-nose pliers come in. When this is done all that's needed is to pull out the twine and snip off the excess length on the string ties. There you have it!
