Perfect size for my cat! When it's not being used as a carrier, it's also become his "safe Place" to go to when people enter house. Multi use!

this is a very sturdy and basic cat carrier. the top loading part is very helpful for my cat as he hates leaving the house and for some reason it seems easier to get him in this way. it was a little confusing to assemble and i accidentally put a screw in upside down, which is now stuck because of the way the nut threads so use caution. now i cannot disassemble it at all, but if not for that i think it would be easy to dissemble too.

This is an OK carrier. I ordered it to give to a neighbor, and I had to tell her that I would recommend always carrying it from the bottom, unless she was carrying only a kitten or lightweight cat. I might be wrong, but the carry handle is on the metal gate that opens at the top, and that gate is only attached on one side by two lightweight plastic tabs. And the wire in the gates is a smaller guage than I've seen used in a carrier before. I just don't think they would hold up for repeated use by a heavy cat... Again, I could be wrong. Other than that, it's a good carrier. It was simple to put together, and it came with a water/food bowl attachment, and a grate that sits at the bottom. Both of those aren't always included with a carrier. It has plastic lock fittings instead of the heavy-duty steel wire that I've always had on my carriers, but they look like they'll holdup. I like that it has two ways to join the top & bottom. You can use the bolts if you have room to store it whole, or you can use the four clamps on the sides, and it will be fast & easy to break it down to half-size for storage. Now my neighbor can safely evacuate with her cat in case of a forest fire. :)

This carrier is very sturdy. One of the best things it has is that it can open through the top and front. It comes with a small plastic bowl for food or water. I’m using it to transport stray cats to the vet. I have a bunch of cats that have given birth in my backyard and they are very difficult to even touch. It is smaller than I thought so it looks good for a cat or dog up to 10 pounds give or take.

This is a decent 20 hard cat carrier. Easy to assemble in minutes. Seems very sturdy. I do question the carrying handle, as it is plastic and hollowed out. I would support the carrier elsewhere when carrying however for now it seems sturdy for a lightweight cat or very small dog. Luckily the one cat I have that would claw its way out of a soft carrier is on the smaller side as I would go up a size if it were to be used for an average size cat and even larger if you have a large cat. Overall, its perfect!
