Adds warmth to the room with its heat as well as its cozy look. Very easy to set up. Just be careful….my daughter accidentally plugged in a space heater for the other room and with the both on it blew the fuse!

I am very happy with this fireplace insert , it puts out a good amount of heat, you can set the temperature you want for room or you can use without the heat and just the light, it comes with a remote control , the temperature display is shown for only a few seconds once you set it and then it goes away so it wont show and that is a good thing as I had one that stayed on and it defeated the purpose! The heat comes from the bottom front and does not give it away that its a heater so no glowing heat from the heater part just glowing flames and it gives the look of burnt firewood when sitting off so the logs are black! I love it!
