This item was not at all what we expected. It said for indoor and outdoor use and showed the fixture mounted on a ceiling in a hallway which is where we mounted ours. The underside of the fixture which the light bulbs sit below is just foil with holes for the screws and holes for the lightbulbs. It looks unfinished and just horrible especially in an upstairs hallway. We are hugely disappointed and will be returning it as soon as we can find a more attractive and better designed alternative.

The directions don't make a ton of sense but it looks good ones it's in place.

Bought two of these for a hallway. They look great.

I used two of these in my upstairs hallway which is open to my two story foyer. I am very happy with how they look. I love the style and how nice they go with my other fixtures (also purchased from Wayfair)
