I wish I had bought an electronic recliner instead of a manual one. The seat of this chair is much too short. One cannot comfortably sit on it. It is very hard to extend. One has to pull one's feet up and push with all one's might to extend it. Bought for my vacationing mother but she was not able to use. And, I am stuck with it as I had thrown out the box.
