Lovely light fixture - I was looking for a special light for our master closet and this one is perfect!

A very nice light fixture looks nice above table one thing though the tag on fixture says 40 watt max but description on web site says 100 watt max so a little confused as to if it was miss tagged or website was wrong buy I have two 40s and 1 60 and seems bright enough I know you can use higher watt led because they dont draw as much and stay cool.

This light fixture was put up in my bedroom. The description said it was glass but only the bottom piece that covers the light bulbs is glass. The shade inside the light fixtures metal ring design is not white and it puts out a yellow light. It is not white as shown in the picture. I have tried different bulbs. The threaded downrod piece that was to hold onto the light was not compatible with the body of the light. You could push the threaded piece into the other threaded piece it was supposed to screw into. I had a piece from the light that came down that worked but that should not be necessary and was only done because i had no light otherwise. Installation was completed and then i found out it put out a dirty looking yellow light. I am disappointed that I had problems installing it and it is not white light. i gave it 2 stars only because it looks good when the light is not on. It is not as advertised. I think i am going to take it down and send it back.

Returning because description read that it had a glass shade. I was going to use over my kitchen sink. However it has a polyurethane shade that is very yellow, not white, and don’t want it absorbing grease or steam over my sink.
