Be very careful with this unit,it almost burned my house down!

Love our fireplace!

I accidentally purchased a fireplace mantle on Wayfair that didn’t include the fireplace. Finding an electric fireplace insert that would fit was a tedious task. They don’t seem to be a lot of options out there for this specific size, and all of them seem to be very pricey for what you get. I was hoping to find something with a little more realistic flames, but they were all way out of my price range. I knew I was taking a risk on this one because there weren’t a ton of reviews and only one had a photo. But I can’t in all fairness rate this any less than a four star because I knew I wasn’t signing up for the nicest fireplace there was. I still feel like this is overpriced at 150 - there are not actual logs but a 3D mold of logs cut in half and secured onto a flat background that displays the flame effect. They are definitely not realistic looking, but they are not the cheesiest flames I’ve ever seen. The holes on the fireplace did not match the pre-drilled holes on my mantle, but I was able drill the screws in easily without any pre-drilled holes. I wish the cord was a little longer. The good thing is that it fit perfectly in the fireplace mantle. It works, was packaged well, and arrived in good condition. I also noticed that there was a quality check sticker on the back of the product, and a safety seal from CSA Group.

This was exactly what we needed. It really heats up a room, love the look too!

Looks great and heats the area great. Fit perfectly in my TV console stand.
