This fountain states it’s for both indoor and outdoor use, however…if you place it inside your home you will have a wet floor for at least a foot wide diameter surrounding the bucket at fountain bottom. It doesn’t matter if you use a lower velocity pump either, and the one supplied doesn’t adjust the flow rate. With that said, you can see I placed mine on my patio in a space where I can hear the sound of the water flowing outside, and even inside with the screen door open. This fountain is all metal, easy to assemble, looks great, sounds loudly incredible and for the price I can honestly say it’s the best available on Wayfair. I placed 7lbs of 1” polished rocks around the base to give the fountain a “finished” look. If you live in the desert Southwest (like Las Vegas) be prepared to refill the five gallon bucket reservoir daily as it moves a lot of water, but that’s an easy routine to get into, and it’s certainly worth it to anyone who enjoys the relaxing sound of a trickling fountain.

Perfect fountain. Amazing sound. Tall and rustic. Does create a small “splash zone” but not a problem with outside installation.

I bought this for an indoor space. Unfortunately, the fountain splashed a lot even when reducing the quantity of water being circulated. We are going to put it on the deck as we were wanting an outdoor fountain too. Also, the color was not as pictured. I understand there are variations in color though. Other these things though, I do like the fountain a lot and it makes a nice noise. I like that it's all metal, not that resin nonsense.

Incredibly easy to assemble - tighten one wing nut, attach pump, add water. If it's in the sun you'll have to remember to add some water daily.

It took three tries to get a version of this fountain without major issues with the metal fabrication that made it impossible to put the pieces together properly or had the cups emptying on the ground. When we finally got one that fit together we discovered that none of the three fountains had tubing long enough to reach the pump in the bucket. We had to improvise a connection piece to a tube from one of the defective units to extend it enough. Then the connection from the tube to the pump itself was extremely difficult but with some tools we finally made it work. In the end we have a working version of this fountain and its perfect for the space we have it but wowww. You really have to consider whether its worth the hassle and dont even bother if you arent handy.
