The Universal Food Chopper (Three Pounds per Minute) is a unique kitchen tool (gadget) as best as my research could discover. With twenty five pound bags of pickling cukes (at $20 each) on ice in my garage and an urge for relish the Chopper seemed the tool for the job. After some grinding with my dremel tool to clean out one opening in the casting, the cukes and bell peppers went in and relish came out. With a bucket to catch the liquid coming out the handle opening and the vegetables cut to an appropriate size for the hopper I'm sure three pounds per minute was a realistic rate. As I canned the relish, I cannot comment on the eventual texture of the relish. As the relish sat, freshly chopped, there was some crunch to the product. Would I describe the vegetables as chopped or ground (as with a grinder) is a question I cannot answer as I don't have a grinder to test. The particles are recognizable. The chopper sure beats chopping forty pounds of cukes and bell peppers by hand. I'm keeping it in my kitchen.

This product shreds metals in your foods. I tossed it straight into the trash.

I have not used this product yet but I am amazed at the weight of it and assume it will perform as I want it to.
