These planters are made of a heavy duty and durable plastic that seem like they will last outside in the PNW weather. They are large and have plenty of space for rocks/soil and plants. I’m excited to transplant some strawberries into them after the season is over. I would definitely recommend these to anyone for their planting needs that doesn’t want a ceramic breakable! You will need to drill your own drainage holes in the bottom but instructions are provided.

I got these Tremont planters to fill in corner of the deck near a bench. They look great! They are exceptionally well made, sturdy, and feature a water reservoir, enabling me to water plants less frequently. Can’t wait to plants some flowers.

Product arrived quickly and the quality is fantastic. These are built very well and they look incredible! They are black which looks great with any type of planting, There is no assembly required so you just pull them out and add dirt and plants of your choice! The self watering function at the bottom is a nice addition and you really can’t beat the value of these things overall, The front of my house never looked better!

I love these planters! They are the perfect height and would work in so many places, like under a window or to layer with other planters. The material is thick and sturdy but lightweight to easily move around. The built in drainage is great. The black color really stands out and perfect for my house. I love mine so much I got them for my daughter's new house too. Perfect for a porch is an understatement!

Wow! I was not expecting how spacious these flower boxes are! These are durable and attractive. I originally wanted them in the back yard for herbs, but now I’m putting them on the front porch for flowers. It’s still early in the season here, but I am already planning trailing flowers & many blooms in them!

Step 2 Review The first thing I noticed about these Termont Trough planters from Step 2 is that they are not flimsy; they are really solid and substantial. Because they come in a package of two, I feel like, for the quality and large size, the price is more than fair. What makes these a little different from your standard planter is that they have a water reservoir at the bottom. I feel like this makes the planter height taller than normal, however, so be aware. They looked disproportionate where I originally intended to use them. If you drill a hole in the top and place some kind of wicking material in the holes, in theory this should decrease the need to water as often. I am using mine outdoors, however, so did not need the reservoir feature. To have my planters drain, I drilled 4 holes in the bottom. Drilling was simple and easy. Overall quality product.

These are really nice! They are light weight without anything in them so I was easily able to remove them from the box and place them outside where I want them to go. I love that they are self watering. This makes thing so much easier when it comes to gardening. I plan to put tomato and pepper plants in these. They are big enough for larger plants and will be a great addition to my raised bed / pot garden! Highly recommend for their nice appearance and functionality.

This is a very large sized planter (adult bike helmet pictured next to it for zie). If you imagine what the kids Step2 playground material feels like, this is built exactly the same. If the material could handle my kids jumping up and down, I know that this is going to be sturdy enough for my plants! The interior of mine came very scratched up (as shown) but once it is filled with dirt no one would see it. I would recommend putting it in the location you plan to keep it before filling with dirt. There are no handles or grips to transport so I think it would be hard to do when heavy and full. I dropped one star because it says to store indoors when it's below 32 degrees. Living in a winter climate, I keep my planter boxes outside year round and having to store this indoors during winter will be challenging.
