I have learned never to review a product until I have had it for a while. I have had this fountain for a couple of weeks now. The design of this fountain is lovely. The birds seem to enjoy bathing in it and drinking from it. However, one thing a good quality fountain should have is its' ability to withstand exposure to water. That should go without saying, right? Not always. This fountain's finish is already starting to chip off where it is exposed to water. I have several fountains placed throughout different gardens on the property. Even the one that is nearly 10 years old, that is fiberglass and resin, is still maintaining its' finish. Considering what this fountain cost, one would be well within their rights to expect higher quality. My advice . . . don't waste your hard-earned money on this fountain.
