I bought this as an open box item because I wanted extra slats to beef up the platform bed we bought (see Harlow Solid Wood Platform Bed on Wayfair). This slat set is for vertical orientation so they were way too wide for a Queen. I cut open the ends of the fabric covering the slats and pulled them out and cut them to queen width and reinserted them in the fabric. It worked very well. These slats are 1/2" thick which matched the platform and they worked like a charm. It was a good value at the open box price and the slats are good quality.

Nice. Exactly what I was looking for. Fit the bed frame perfectly.
