I looked at so many electric fireplaces that I started to not even be able to keep them all straight— it was time to just pull the trigger on something and so I bought this one. This went in our basement, mostly because we needed a heat source to keep our media room cozy in the winter. I am pleasantly surprised by this piece. Truthfully, I didn’t have super high expectations. Does the fire look realistic? I mean… no, nobody is going to think this fire is real, but it still looks great. The heater works well, and most importantly, is very quiet. We’ve used it every day for a few weeks now and I’ve been very pleased with the purchase.
