Its very cute! It was fairly easy to assemble -- we didnt have problems with pieces missing or not fitting at all, and did it in about 6 hours all together. Some of the wood pieces are not in great condition, arriving already with splits in them or fraying (the wood is thin and splits easily), and inconsistent painting on some pieces. We paid 400 and I feel the quality is appropriate for that price, but if we had paid 700 I would be more upset about these flaws. Only other note is that I wish the door was taller--my daughter is 5 and we know she may only get a couple of years out of this at this point, but she is already inches above the door opening and has to duck to enter. The design could easily incorporate a taller door into the frame (we may end up hand-cutting a taller door) and this would increase the lifespan of the product in families. Something to be aware of if purchasing for an older or taller kid!
