Initially, I liked the nutcracker. However, upon looking closely, I came to the conclusion it must have been painted by children. The bottom box the nutcracker stands on was dented, very uneven, even had a hole in it. It’s very strange. There must be no quality control - no knowledge of the junk they are shipping to customers. If it were just one thing, but, again, it is borderline ridiculous. I wouldn’t care if the bottom were messy; but it would have damaged my hard wood floors if I had not noticed how jagged the edges were. It looks like someone kicked in the box he stands on. Really poor quality especially for the price.

The paint job isn’t the best and is smeared in some places. Since it will be kept outdoors on the front porch, I was hoping it would weigh a little more. Overall it’s a beautiful nutcracker!

Cute from a Distance, not price worthy. The candy cane was broken off, and hideously painted. The piece looks? Used? Pre-handled? The paint is rubbed off in many places; like on the wreath, boots, and on the holly topper on the hat. The lines on the legs are messy. It's almost got an intentional vintage paint job, but not a vintage piece.. Not up to normal Wayfair standards.
