Been looking for this for years but not for outside. We live in the center of a cul-da-sac and I want to display it in our upstairs window over looking the entire street. This will allow anyone who comes down out street can enjoy it. It's PERFECT.

The Display is on a timer. Everytime the timer goes off the display goes off too. Great. BUT...is does not get back on! Also, no hooks to hold the display in place in the ground.

This is a nice set. Be aware that although it is advertised as indoor/outdoor, it is a better indoor decoration. The power to this set is through USB and needs to have you supply the plug-in piece. Then there are about 7 settings you can choose from for how the display lights up. This is by scrolling through the options to arrive at the desired setting. If you attached this display to a timer it will not turn on by itself. It needs hands on attention. If you place it outside you will need to attend to it every day that you want to turn it on, no matter which setting you choose. Therefore, it is best as an inside decoration so that it can be illuminated.
