This light is a very open concept as you can see. It is not heavy but feels sturdy. It is true black but the sheen is in between a low gloss and matte finish. We have it installed in my daughters fairly large room and it works great. It really depends on the brightness you want but my pre teen likes it low so we use a globe low voltage light. Overall pretty cute

I haven’t gotten the chance to have this light fixture installed, but so far, I’m very pleased with it. It’s larger than it appears in the photos, which is fine with me. It will work perfectly for my apartment entryway.

The delivery is always great with Wayfair, fast. We love this fixture! Its a solid metal with a pretty power black finish. I have put many light fixtures up before, so it was easy for me. However, the directions were not that great and might take longer for q first timer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this fixture is a modern version in the soft gold tones (not super yellow) of a more industrial style cage light! It’s both subtle yet elegant and gives off good ambient lighting to the space. It is also super easy to install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this light in our house. More than expected. It looks like a costly designer's choice of lighting. We use it in our hallway and it does the trick. The brass coating is very nice. I need to buy a few more to replace our other hallway lighting.
