We bought 3 of these, because we have a pack (failed fosters!)! For the most part, these are wonderful! They look so much better than traditional crates, especially if you have multiple. The storage areas are nice to keep treats and leashes, etc in, especially if you can find a basket or wooden 'drawer' like I did for that space.
The issues I had were in the building instructions, and also we had one piece that was damaged in shipping which was about 3" long and in an unfortunate spot where the dog walks in and out. After almost completely having it assembled, returning it wasn't an option. So, we covered it in duct tape.
The directions I wish I had before assembling are as follows:
Step 1: number 3 is incorrectly labeled as number 28.
Step 3: number 3 is labeled incorrectly as number 28.
Step 9: assembly was much easier if you turn it upside down; also, number 12 and 13's labels were switched so look at the holes and screws very carefully where they match up.
Step 15: it says number 18 & 19 go together, but it's 19 & 20; it says number 20 & 21 go together, but it's 18 & 21; it says the second 20 & 21 to together, but it's 18 & 21, and the last says 18 & 19 go together, and it's 20 & 17. (Not hard to figure out, especially if you like Lego!)
Step 21: You REALLY need 2 people to put the top on and match up 22 screws at once.
The 1st one I put together took 4+ hours, the last 2 took me 3 hours. So, plan accordingly! So, far, after having them for 3 months, I can say they are pretty durable and liked by all of our 'pups' from 12lbs to 70lbs!
