Us Stove 1,200 Sq. Ft Wood Stove

Even on low the unit has way too much airflow through the unit causing the wood to burn through extremely fast and making it very difficult to regulate the heat output. Manufacturer please let me know if/how to do it

Hey Jon, how did you modify the bottom choke? Seems like it doesn't do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I bought this stove 2 years ago and it heats throughout my entire home (1,240 sqft). Ash drawer doesn't catch anything and I also had to modify the bottom choke. Well worth the money. Just know logs will need to be cut short due to smaller door. All in all I enjoy the stove and would buy again if need be.

my one serious concern is that you can't fully shut off the air intake. Not only would I like a slower burn once it's loaded, but if something like a chimney fire happens ( I sweep mine every season), you should be able to completely shut off the air to stop fueling it. I am going to see if I can modify it somehow to be able to totally shut it down, maybe from over the ashpan. Other than that, it's a good stove, throws off lots of heat with seasoned wood, the rear heat shield does a great job, can cook on it in a pinch. Wood handle needs a lock washer behind the nut, and mine came with no cotter pins for the door studs. Quick fix on both. But the burn rate needs to be slowed down, and totally shut down if needed.

Where do I find the blower for this model of stove? Can you share a part number or link for it please?
