We bought 5 containers in two different sizes (10 deep 15 deep) of these containers. The metal is dramatically different once it begins to patina. See the photos. We received the dark ones first. They have been treated exactly the same. In fact, one of them has zero coverage and has gotten far more rain. This is a disaster. I spent an entire weekend putting drip lines into these things

These boxes patina perfectly!!! I love them and will be buying more, very heavy and sturdy do not dent.

I absolutely love the Corten Steel Series planters. They are fabulous and are holding up extremely well. I have even dug the plants up, moved my planters around the yard (changed my mind in location) and they still are in excellent shape. You might notice the different coloring in the planters, that is because I have purchased at different times. The older the planters the darker in color in my case. The two rose bush planters are only a couple of months old hence, the lighter coloring of the planter. These are so worth the price!

I love these planters! So well made, and they look amazing--such an organic yet modern feel. And the price is great (you can pay more for the same thing at other places).
