These planters are a good size, attractive and at a reasonable price.

Could not find the overflow drain hole but am still happy with the size.

Great pot! Just as described. Well constructed. Worked well for our use. Expose the weather and is durable.

These are nice and large, but can easily fill up with water and only one of two I purchased had an openable release valve. The appearance is of the hefty no nonsense plastic of too many 'eco' products that are trying to solve a problem. Does hold a lot of soil and a large planting and tall enough that you don't need any sort of pedestal. It could hold a whole herb garden right outside the kitchen door, which would be awesome. So not my favorite in looks and does need a drainage plug, but for the price is probably competitive.

I am incredibly happy with these self-watering planters. They are a great, large size that is hard to find at an affordable price. They can hold an impressive amount of soil and are capable of keeping a small tree such as a Japanese maple happy. The self-watering system worked wonders. In the heat of the mid-summer I only had to water once weekly, and my soluble fertilizer could be added directly to the reservoir. We had a beautiful display well into the fall. From a distance the containers look like coloured concrete, although up close you can tell they are a composite material. However, as concrete cracks in the harsh Canadian winters, I am just fine with that! These hold up well through the winter, and so far, no problems at all even though I keep them out year round! Would definitely recommend.
