The base isn't as pictured. It is simply a glass slab. The top is as pictured but the glass isn't as thick as I would like. It would be higher quality if the top were a little thicker glass.

Stick with the clear glass option! Ordered both the olive and the clear thinking the colored options were in fact colored glass. Unfortunately, it’s a film (like a car wrap or auto window tint!) discovered after first wash when film shrunk and came off. Really disappointing. On the plus side, Wayfair has excellent customer service and replaced item.

Just as pictured very pretty I think it is good enough quality to put in the dishwasher, however.

I love the dish itself, but the color coated plastic started coming off of the dome. I don’t think I’m able to return it at this point so I’ll just have to keep it and buy another one.
