We like the side windows so can see the “fire” from different parts of the room. However the logs are very fake looking and the flame is minimal compared to last electric fireplace. It’s cute, it’s small. It’s a nice little heater. The cord seems like the kind for a lamp. I would have preferred something heftier. I am comparing it to the previous one which died- element burned out. These little fireplaces do not seem super robust. Burt they are nice little heaters and add some atmosphere without the hassle of a real fireplace.
