It's a nice charcoal black/dark grey color. This item is very light weight yet feel really sturdy during install. Biggest headache was not reading directions & failed to install the screws into the mounting bracket before making electric connections. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Absolutely love the mondern vibe this light brings! Super simple to install, more of a very dark gray color. But still perfect.

It’s a pretty blue gray, not black. So I had to change which room it is going in but it could still work.
