This fireplace is not too heavy. Easy to build a wall around. 3.5” thick if, doing a cut-out. Remote comes with a battery. The heat works great in my bedroom. Anchors are provided but you may need different screws depending if screwing into the wall or 2x4 built-out wall.

This beautiful and large electric fireplace fits our space and needs perfectly! It is braced well and took about 15 minutes to add the rocks and install the brace. From there you attach the heater and glass to the French cleat style brace to hang in place. It comes with a remote control and offers a dimmer and a huge variety of color combinations to suit the vibe you're looking for. The best part of all is the amount of quiet heat that it puts out and just in time for cooler nights. You have the option of a blower and the heat really circulates well. It's just what we were looking for!

Just got my 68” Wall-mounted/recessed Electric Fireplace. This is the most beautiful electric fireplace I have ever seen! The flame effect is very realistic, and the choice of color combination's are incredible !! Love the overheat protection, gives peace of mind. Very very nice fireplace! Love it.

I’m happy with how this electric fireplace looks. Right now, I have it hanging on the wall, but it can also be recessed. My husband is going to cut the drywall and recess it, and I think it will look even better once it’s built into the wall. There are several flame colors to choose from, and the brightness can be dimmed depending on the look you want. It also has a heater that can be turned on or off, which will be nice for chilly evenings. The remote makes it easy to control, and it also has a timer. Overall, it’s a nice-looking fireplace with a good variety of features and options.

Wayfair gave me the wrong information about this fireplace, I had to send it back and when I requested another one it was the same measurements, please be careful and ask them to measure the fireplace, it was definitely wrong
