This desk is VERY nice BUT it comes in about a million pieces, a lot of things that could have already been put together by the manufacturer!! It took my husband and me 9 hours to put this together, start to finish, and we're both very handy! HOLY COW! Had no idea it would take that long. Now that it's put together, it is very nice and sturdy. Because it had so many pieces it is hard to line everything up right, and some of the drawers don't line up perfectly, but it gets the job done. The wood also smells very fresh. For how long it took to put together, it better last a life time! I would not have bought it if I realized the time commitment. For the price, I guess it's as to be expected! I still gave a 4 b/c it's a nice desk! No pieces missing either - of the million!!
