LOVE these gray 'galvanized look' plastic caps, but be aware that 4" caps are wiggly loose on LESS THAN 4" 'standard' wooden posts that are sold at most 'BIG BOX' Home Stores. No fault of the caps, but there is no standard of what 4 inches means when it comes to pre-cut lumber. It's more like 3 3/8". These posts are built really durable. They only come with concrete anchor lags though, not wood lags. I'm mounting these to the top of my deck 2x6 rail. They should give you an option on lags.
