The table is exactly the dimensions that are listed on the site, but the picture is misleading. The table top is 4 seperate pieces, two that go across the 36" wide side at either end, and then two in the middle that are facing perpendicular to the other two. The finish makes it look kind of cheap, it doesn't look like real wood, I'm certain it isn't. I had to assemble the table, which isn't surprising, but it comes in many pieces. 4 for the top, 4 legs, 2 for each long side and 1 for each short side, plus two support pieces underneath. It came with the channel lock screw things that are typical of cheap furniture. My biggest complaint is that the ends of the table are very narrow. The image online is misleading.
