(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We went from having no dishwasher to using this GE one and it feels like such a big lifestyle upgrade for us. It fits way more than we expected and we can load full dinner sets with bigger pots and pans without having to play Tetris. The rack layout makes it easier to organize everything and nothing tips over or shifts around. Performance has been solid everytime even with heavier meals, the dishes come out spotless. The auto open dry feature actually makes a difference too since everything comes out dry and ready to put away. It also runs really quiet which I love! It is well built with a stainless steel interior but unfortunately the outside seems like it can but scratched up so be careful! Although it isn’t a big deal to us since it’s just cosmetic. After handwashing everything for so long this has genuinely changed our routine and we couldn’t be more happier with it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Things I liked: - That the door auto-opens at the end of the cycle to allow the steam to escape. However, I do not like that it opens before it is actually finished drying such that the door is open while the cycle "finishes" (often for over 60 minutes), so the dishes don't actually get properly dried, they come out much wetter than previous dishwashers - The tines are angled to make it easier to stack dishes - I like the idea of the "auto sense" option to detect when the dishes are clean to end the cycle rather than continuing unneccesarily, however it doesn't seem to actually work very well as dishes are often left with stuck on food residue - That the top rack height can be adjusted to allow tall glasses to fit Things I didn't like/ need improvement: - The control buttons are on the top of the door and they covered by the counter when the door is closed so you cannot press the buttons or see how much time is left when the door is closed - There is no easily accessible option to turn of the door "auto open" function (see above) - Top rack layout of the tines: there are two shallow "rows" without tines in the middle, and these are useless to actually put anything in, cups don't sit properly, you can't put plastic containers because they flip over and get filled with water (you can't really put small plastic containers anywhere in the top rack as they flip over and get filled with water everywhere), and the remaining "rows" are mostly to narrow to comfortably put cups anywhere - Bottom rack layout is mostly ok and you can fit quite a few dishes, but the cutlery rack just sits in the bottom rack instead of clipping in anywhere so it isn't the best use of space - The dishes just don't get cleaned as well as my old (really old) dishwasher, there is often residual stuck-on food on several plates and pieces of cutlery, regardless of amount of dishwashing detergent used, and regardless of letting the sink water run hot before starting the dishwasher - Dishes don't get dried properly, and anything light gets flipped over and filled with water - There is no "express" or quick cycle

The sleek design looks beautiful in our kitchen. Our favourite feature is the Auto Open Dry which automatically opens the door to allow for steam to be released from the dishwasher. We also love the Piranha Hard Food disposer because it allows the dishwasher to breakdown food so you don't have to prewash anything before putting it in. This dishwasher has many different settings and different load types. Our previous dishwasher was also a GE and we are loyal customers as their products continue to impress us.

Overall though install was easy enough, just need to make sure you have the right hose/fittings depending on your plumbing. Fittings/hose are not included. Overall we are happy with the dishwasher and how it cleans. The stainless steel tub is definitely a plus and overall it is pretty quiet. The shelves are slightly adjustable but we feel for some reason it can fit less than our older dishwasher. The rack system also feels a bit flimsy compared to our original dishwasher as well. The open door drying function was also different for us but seems to work well, you just need to remember to let it run through the full cycle before removing the dishes. Overall happy with it, have been using it for about a month now.
