This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. There was no assembly, so from opening the box to getting it going was quick and easy. So far, it works as expected. The remote has a lot of useful functions including turn off and on the lights at night to reduce the brightness for light sleepers. A few things to know beforehand. There are two modes of under cabinet range hood, one is the ducted mode, which can be used by turning the switch inside the hood to ducted mode. In this mode we do not need to install a chimney pipe, the replacement charcoal filter filters the fumes and exhausts the air into the room through the front vent. The other mode is the ductless mode, which requires a switch inside the hood to ductless mode, which requires the installation of a chimney pipe to vent the fumes outside, and the under cabinet range hood has three speeds, low, medium, and high.
