I recently became an unexpected mom to a huge 9-months-old border collie. I needed a good sturdy kennel and wanted one that was attractive as well. I really love this kennel. It is very large, but it's what I needed. I had some difficulty putting it together by myself, but it is very doable. I also purchased the beautiful pillow shown inside in the attached photo from Wayfair, but the pillow is a little too lofty for my dog. Our dog is only in her crate occasionally but due to some behavioral issues (shes a rescue with a terrible past) we will need a crate available, so I wanted something that looked like a piece of furniture. My husband and I spent just about over an hour putting it together. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend it. My -1 star is for when you pull the corner protectors off, be careful! Pretty good enclosure for our dogs don’t have the roof on due to weather we have had but it also is pretty good quality. I will be interested to see how this holds up when we have to move and then have to rebuild it again. One thing to note is this thing has a ton of pieces so be prepared for it to take a bit to put together but overall fairly simple to put together it’s just a tad flimsy. Quite impressed with this item. It is very durable. I love that the trays are removable for accidents and it also collects the shedding coat.
