This 2-piece set of upholstered dining chairs completes your modern farmhouse dining room design with a classic silhouette and a vintage-inspired look. Each is crafted from solid wood in a natural brown hue, distressed for an antique feel. The matching design features a traditional King Louis back and four legs. We love that they have foam padding on the back of the seat, wrapped in a polyester upholstery. Our favourite? This dining chair is stain-resistant. It has a weight capacity of 250 lbs.

As a designer and home buyer, I like to think I have a discerning eye for good design and good quality-for-price furnishings. I believe that you can make a few high end, high value designer pieces go a long way when mixed in along with more midrange stuff and even vintage thrift finds in order to really have a well furnished and unique place.
Since we moved in and had our custom reclaimed wood table made, I decided to spend less on the chairs and mix it up a bit. I’ve been looking for French country chic chairs for a little while now, and decided to take a chance win these ones.
They were reasonable at about CAD 220 and compared to all others I’ve seen for that price are the best quality. I do love the Louis design, the linen look matched my couches and even though the lines and style were totally different from out industrial looking table, it really tied everything in
together.
The chairs took about 3 weeks to arrive and when they finally did, UPS was nice enough to ring the bell and help me with taking the boxes inside the door. I was a little daunted at putting them together myself, but it was a breeze. There was a chemically smell however that gave me a headache and may be formaldehyde. So I put them out on the deck and aired them for half a day before I continued putting them together. All pieces and parts were there, no wobbling and even instructions for what to do if they did wobble. For something that’s made in China and smells funny, I was impressed. (I did have to remove a LOT of Made in Hina stickers though. ). Lavanya. montreal-ouest, QC. 2018-09-03 20:30:01
