Bed was easy to build, instructions were simple to follow. I was nervous reading all the bad reviews regarding those. I’m a girl in my 30s and I built the bed myself. No issues. The dowels they provide you with are the only thing that didn’t really work. They were all two small for the holes so a couple pushed right through. Not a problem I had some extra at home from other projects. The bed seems very sturdy so far. I’ve only slept on it a few nights, time will tell how it holds up. This was my first purchase on Wayfair, but after having seen many commercials and the site being recommended to me by friends and family I decided to give it a chance. Lo and behold I finally found the bed I have been searching months for. Since I needed it in a full size and was very specific about what I wanted it was difficult to find what I was looking for; luckily for me, Wayfair has many, many options and sizes. After reading many reviews and looking at photos I finally decided to order it. It took four weeks to arrive, which was a week earlier than anticipated. Although this was a bit of a wait I was okay with it because of the free shipping and I didn't need the bed right away. It should also be noted I live in Canada, I'm not sure if shipping would take less or more in the US. The bed arrived in two shipments, which changed from one but where I could track my orders it was clear that it was changed to two (I was provided with two tracking numbers and two different delivery dates). My first shipment came on Thursday and my second came on Friday. The boxes were quite heavy but I had two family friends bring them upstairs and assemble the bed for me. It took them less than an hour so I'm assuming it was fairly easy. Online you can print off very detailed and clear instructions which helped them a lot. Now for the quality of the bed. The fabric is very soft and covers the headboard, wings, and the bottom panels that surround the bed. With the combination of my mattress and boxspring, you cannot see the gap in between the bottom of the headboard and the bed at all. I love that the wings go all the way to the floor and they are bigger (wider) than expected, which I very much like. For sturdiness I would rate it 4/5, it is very sturdy but not 100%. I'm not worried about it breaking or about the quality though. The bed is low to the ground, which I like, but somehow it made my bed taller than it was before! I love this. My mattress (bought at Leon's) also seems comfier and better balanced on this bed. One thing I was worried about when I purchased it was the placing of the upholstery and fabric bunching on the headboard because it was a full-sized bed, however, the pattern is perfect and doesn't differ from the photo at all. The upholstery is also very well done and looks beautiful, it is also cushiony but firm to the touch. Overall, I love this bed and am satisfied with every aspect of it.
