The box that came was huge, I’m a woman that lives alone so I just opened it right there at my door and brought the pieces up the stairs, was actually pretty easy as took the box straight to the trash. Other than that it only took me maybe an hour total from box at the door to sitting on a complete couch! This chair is awesome!!! It came in a small box and we let it puff up. We put it in our 11yo son's room and it's a great place to have his friends hang out, and at their size, they've even slept overnight on it. It's pretty firm, which I think is a bonus in any "floor" type of chair, because they are usually the opposite. It's been used for about 8 months and the fabric has held up really well.
