However, for high-elevation areas with severe snow, the lifetime snow load kit is a perfect addition to your storage shed. Increasing the snow load capacity from 23 to 30 lbs/square ft, the kit reinforces one steel truss and helps keep the shed strong during those tough storms. Shed arrived ahead of time. It was placed on a new lot by my contractors. Unfortunately 3 of the panels were bent but the guys were able to bend them back into shape. It had to be built quickly, and they started to build the day it arrived, so there would not have been enough time to have the 3 panels replaced. There was also some hardware too but the contractors obtained what they wanted from a local hardware store.
