These bizarre spirals of twisted kraft paper did a surprising good job of padding and cushioning a loose bowl, while the tank came in a separate but equally well padded box. I love this toilet. I have another kohler toilet with the 1.28 gpf flush so I knew I wanted one similar to that one. The flush is powerful and circles the whole bowl. My contractor was very impressed with the flush...lol... and said it was a simple install. I chose the black one because I always wanted an all black bathroom. It has a gloss on it, and yes, has to be wiped constantly. Constant wiping doesn't bother me at all. I also have the matching Cimarron pedestal sink. I do agree that for the price of this toilet, a seat should be included. The wood paneling and toilet paper holder are also from Wayfair. It was well-packaged with thick foam so the only issue I had was that the lid had a small crack on it. I'm not sure how that happened but I reached out to Wayfair and asked could they send just a new lid. Wayfair reached out to the supplier and they sent me a whole new toilet...lol. I explained that the original toilet was already installed. I was told to just switch out the lids, print out the Fedex label and they came back in a couple of days and picked up the new toilet. I agree with the previous review. Just installed last weekend and, as a construction industry professional, I was disappointed by the following: 1. Can't get your hands or any type of tool adequately in to tighten toilet seat bolts. 2. If they ever loosen, you need to unfasten and remove toilet to tighten 3. Bidet seat hidden cord hole did not align with electrical or water supply of compatible Kohler bidet seat Had to run electrical and water outside of toilet. I would have chosen another toilet had I known that the cords would be exposed anyway. 4. When setting toilet, you can't see when it is properly aligned and set into trapway.
