I bought this for one of my Airbnb’s. Installation took about an hour with 2 people and was easier than I anticipated. The pictures were taken right after installation.but it looked great after putting it together. After a few guests, we have the seal of approval. It’s very comfortable! I would recommend this sofa!. okay love how the couch came out! I had a family friend build this and it took him a couple hours alone. I would say it was relatively easy. however the pillows are flatter than i assumed, they don’t have much structure to them in terms of laying on them , but that makes sense with them acting as the “back board”. I would recommend adding some pillows to lounge on instead of these. The comfort of it is alright, still kinda stiff feeling but i’m hoping when i use it more i’ll kinda break it in. Ok…. The directions are 27 pages long. I almost hired someone to put it together until I unboxed it, and it wasn’t that bad. Now…. Though, it took me almost 3 hours, and the directions say 30 minutes ( but that’s with2 people and I’m sure it could get done faster. This modular sofa is exactly what we needed in our playroom/den. Love that we can move it around as needed and the quality seems to be really good. With little kids, being able to take off the covers and machine wash will be awesome when the time undoubtedly comes. Fabric is soft and plush and very comfortable. The only two cons are that it might take a little bit of time to break it in to make it a little less firm- not that it’s too firm, but might just need some time to reach optimum comfort, and I imagine it may get hot to sit on since it’s so plush. This would have gotten a 5star if the right upholstered set came to us in full. Half was beige 1 and the other half was in in beige 4. Had to call and ask for slip covers to match the intended ones ordered....but when they came, it still didn't match with the originals so I had to call and get a whole new set of covers sent so they all will match. Whatever you do, tell them to note that the set all matches to avoid this. if it does happen to you, ask for entire slip cover for all 8 seater to be replaced to ensure they all match.. Ha. Florida. This sectional is pretty great for the price in comparison with department store couches it ranks along with much more expensive sectionals. I would say the firmness is a medium firm. Not a super soft feel or not a cloud couch feel either. The chenille fabric is very good quality and the black is a true deep black not a charcoal like other brands models. I like the size and different configurations available. I also like that all the cushions have velcro to attach them in place. The rounded edges of the cushions give it a perfect relaxed feel. Read the reviews before purchasing. This couch is the color I wanted and is true to what was posted. The seat cushions hug you when you sit down. The back cushions are not as comfortable. I wish the back cushions were as thick as the seats, or at least thicker than what they are. The zippers for the arm rest do not match very well in leaving about an inch and a half of zipper hangover and an equal amount of gap visible from the other side of the arm rest. The legs are plastic, making it feel cheap, but the material of the couch is super soft so you forget about the cheap parts. It took me about an hour to put together by myself, but you will need help lifting it back in the upright position after putting all the pieces together. I don’t love it but I do like it. Delivery was frustrating, but I blame FedEx for that. After having to push all 4 boxes up the stairs by myself and putting it together, it’s too much of a hassle to return it so I’m keeping it. I ordered the Hokku Designs Cloud Couch for our new home and I am obsessed!! We’ve been using it for ~3 weeks now and we love it! The couch is low seating, but we knew that going in and we don’t mind it at all. It’s very comfortable.. perfect for naps. We love being able to comfortably fit multiple people, and being able to move the ottoman is great when you need extra seating or more leg room.
